Russia responded to Trump's words about the end of BRICS

OREANDA-NEWS US President Donald Trump's words about the end of BRICS are a bluff, said Alexei Chepa, first deputy chairman of the State Duma's International Affairs Committee. He shared his denial with Lenta.ru".
Earlier, Trump announced the alleged mass withdrawal of BRICS countries due to his threats to impose duties on all products from these countries.
"This is a bluff, a Trump game. No one has left BRICS. Moreover, interest in this structure is growing and cooperation between the countries is only increasing. The Americans' attempts to impose duties are, of course, an attempt to protect their interests, but it is absolutely clear that large economies such as China and India will stand by their interests in the same way as many other countries," the deputy shared.
In July, Trump already announced the extinction of the BRICS because of its duties. "We have this little group called BRICS. It's fading fast. But the BRICS countries wanted to try to displace the dollar," he said.
