OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian armed forces used a kamikaze drone of the Geran-2 family with unusual markings during an attack on Ukrainian facilities. The corresponding footage was posted by Advisor to the President of Ukraine Sergey Beskrestnov on Telegram.

The image taken by the interceptor drone shows a protruding detail in the nose of the Geranium. It can be assumed that the drone carries a new warhead or additional electronic equipment.

There is also an inscription "5+0 Spec" on the wing of the device. Ordinary "Geraniums" are marked with the letter of the series and the serial number.

The triangular-wing drone is equipped with an internal combustion engine that provides a speed of about 180 kilometers per hour. The Geran-2 carries a high-explosive fragmentation warhead weighing 50 kilograms.

In July, it became known that the Gerber multipurpose drones of the Russian Armed Forces began to be used to control Lightning strike vehicles.
