OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order on the annual voluntary contribution of the Russian Federation in the amount of $ 3 million to the Fund of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

"To approve the proposal of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, agreed with the Russian Ministry of Finance, to establish, starting in 2025, an annual voluntary contribution of the Russian Federation to the Fund of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in the amount of 3 million US dollars, including a target contribution of 2 million US dollars for new challenges and threats and a target contribution, amounting to 1 million US dollars, for countering the use of information and communication technologies for criminal purposes", - It is stated in the order dated June 27, published on Tuesday on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to the document, contributions will be paid "in Russian rubles or another currency in an amount equivalent to the amount of these contributions at the UN operational exchange rate on the date of payment at the expense of budgetary allocations."
