OREANDA-NEWS  Russia will boycott the Warsaw conference on the human dimension, organized by the OSCE chairmanship, which will be held in October. This was stated at a briefing by Alexey Zaitsev, Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Russia, as last year, declares an official boycott of the said ersatz conference in Warsaw. We hope that common sense will prevail and other states will follow our example," he said.

The diplomat pointed out that the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, designed to play the role of the technical organizer of the forum, "by its actions, in fact, condones the arbitrariness of the North Macedonians." "We warn you that such behavior of the leadership of the ODIHR, as well as other OSCE executive structures accountable to the participating states, which runs counter to the consensus decisions previously adopted in the organization, will not remain without our due reaction," the deputy head of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stressed.
