OREANDA-NEWS  Representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission in South Korea, employees of Russian foreign institutions and compatriots with their families on Victory Day, despite the rain, honored the memory of fallen Soviet soldiers by laying flowers at the monument to sailors from the cruiser Varyag and the gunboat Koreets in the South Korean city of Incheon, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

The event was attended by Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Georgy Zinoviev, Russian Trade Representative Alexei Sapetko, military attache at the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Korea Nikolai Marchenko and others. Representatives of the Victory Volunteers, as well as the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots (CSRS), also came to the rally.
