OREANDA-NEWS Revenue of the Russian Post in January-June increased by 2.8 percent year-on-year, to 108.2 billion rubles, and gross profit reached 8 billion rubles after a loss of 0.7 billion in the first half of 2025. This is stated in the press release of the state-owned company.

"The company has crossed the digital equator: more than 53 percent of services are already available on digital storefronts, by the end of the first half of 2026, more than 54 percent of letters were sent through the electronic mail system," the report says. It is noted that the delivery of correspondence in electronic and hybrid format brought the company 14.9 billion rubles during the reporting period, and as part of the continued implementation of the efficiency improvement program, operating expenses decreased by 4.4 billion, or 4 percent year-on-year.

"We are systematically and steadily improving the company's financial results thanks to the accelerated development of modern commercial areas, which actually subsidize the social services of the Russian Post," said Mikhail Volkov, CEO of the company.

According to the results of the entire 2025 year, Russian Post faced a drop in revenue by 1.8 percent, to 215 billion rubles, and gross profit by 12 percent, to 8.1 billion rubles. Meanwhile, the authorities continue to look for a way to support the company and are preparing new proposals in this regard.
