OREANDA-NEWS  In Rostov-on-Don, a criminal case was opened against Ilya Trachuk, a serviceman of the Rostov garrison, and his case was sent to the Southern District Military Court for consideration. This is reported by TASS with reference to law enforcement agencies.

According to the agency's source, the investigation imputes to Trachuk the commission of crimes under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — illegal receipt of information constituting state secrets, and high treason.

The court informed the agency that the hearing on the military case will take place on April 10.

Details of the charges against Trachuk are not given.

Earlier it was reported that the garrison military court of Barnaul sentenced a serviceman who tried to escape from mobilization to Kazakhstan to 6.5 years in a strict regime colony under articles on desertion and illegal border crossing.
