OREANDA-NEWS   A group of five Russian climbers were evacuated by helicopter from the mountains in Tajikistan. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Committee on Emergency Situations (CES) of the republic.

Rescuers went to the Russians after one of them felt unwell during the ascent. "One of the participants of the summit conquest in the Vanja district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) complained of the development of pneumonia," the report says.

It is noted that the tourists were taken to the Dushanbe International Airport. After arriving at aviagavan, the victim was sent to a local hospital.

Earlier in July, Sochi rescuers evacuated a Russian tourist from the mountains with signs of intestinal infection and dehydration. It is clarified that a registered group of tourists made the transition along the route of the Lago-Naki — Solokhaul plateau, and in the second half of the trip one of the participants of the hike became ill.
