OREANDA-NEWS Lamoda online marketplace has opened 50 retail stores across Russia. About this in a conversation with Lenta.
The outlets that have earned the name Lamoda Sport feature sportswear, shoes and sports equipment from brands that have left Russia. Thus, Russians have the opportunity to buy goods, including exclusive products, of the brands Adidas, Puma, Reebok and other popular retailers.
It is known that at the moment stores have opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Sochi, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Ufa and other cities. Lamoda plans to open about 100 stores in more than 20 Russian cities by the end of 2024.
"The stores feature such legendary and popular Adidas models as Samba, Campus, Gazelle. And exclusive brands that you will not find at other sellers — Cream Yoga, Nux, Heroine Sport, as well as the uniforms of the world's leading football clubs," concluded Roman Zaveriukha, Managing Director of retail business at Lamoda.
In August 2023, it was reported that Adidas decided to get rid of the remaining stores in Russia. CEO of the brand Bjorn Gulden said that the company is in the process of closing outlets in the country.
