Russians predicted the Aurora borealis

OREANDA-NEWS After a powerful solar flare, auroras can be seen on Earth. The probability of the phenomenon was predicted to the Russians by specialists from the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Institute of Space Research (IKI) RAN in his Telegram channel.
"The edge of the plasma cloud from the X8.1 flare hit the Earth an hour ago, about a day earlier than the calculation. In principle, there is time for the auroras to flare up — you can keep an eye on it," the scientists said.
We are talking about the consequences of an outbreak that occurred in the Sun on the night of Monday, February 2.
During the next day, 12 more strong flares occurred on the star. The first outbreak was recorded almost immediately after midnight, and the last one at about 21:00 Moscow time. A total of 12 flares occurred on the star. 11 of them were assigned class M, and one was assigned the highest class X.
