OREANDA-NEWS Russians today more clearly feel like a united people, said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council and chairman of United Russia.

"Life often consists of everyday episodes. But when problems come, when tragic events begin, we begin to feel more clearly like a united people. This is exactly the situation today," Medvedev said at the plenary session of the United Russia reporting and programming forum "There is a result!".

He noted that belonging to one nation is especially acutely felt during the most dramatic periods of history.
