OREANDA-NEWS  Sales of liqueur wines in Russia in January-June increased by 73.3% in physical terms compared to the same period a year earlier, sparkling wines - by 28.9%, grape wines - by 12.6%, follows from the materials of Rosalkogoltabakkontrol.

According to the ministry, the total sales of liqueur wines in the country during this period amounted to 714 thousand decaliters, sparkling wines and champagne - 6.08 million decaliters, grape wines - 15.714 million decaliters.

Sales of cognac increased by 13.3% during the reporting period, to 4.161 million decaliters, vodka - by 5.9%, to 35.207 million decaliters.

In general, sales of alcoholic beverages (excluding beer, beer drinks, cider, poiret and mead) increased by 9.2% over these six months, to 88.066 million decaliters. And the sale of low-alcohol products decreased by 7.7% to 8.592 million decaliters.
