OREANDA-NEWS  At about 22:30 on January 2, a second enemy drone was shot down in the sky over Sevastopol by the air defense forces of the region. Prior to that, ForPost reported that the first drone was shot down around 21:50.

"Air defense systems shot down another UAV over the sea. Our military continues to repel the attack. I ask everyone to remain calm," the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, wrote in his TG channel.

Eyewitnesses reported to the editorial office of ForPost that in parallel with loud explosions in the sky over the bay, activity of air defense systems, as well as the Black Sea Fleet, was noticed on the shore.

The head of the region added that all services of the city are working normally.

As ForPost wrote on December 30, 2022, two loud bangs were clearly heard in the central district of Sevastopol around 11:10, which were also the result of the work of the hero city's air defense.
