OREANDA-NEWS The government interdepartmental commission on the implementation of the national project "Unmanned aircraft systems" has been established in Tatarstan. The corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic Alexey Pesoshin.

"In order to develop the production of unmanned aircraft systems, to form a government interdepartmental commission for the implementation of the national project "Unmanned Aircraft Systems" in the Republic of Tatarstan," the document says.

The head of the commission was the head of the Government of Tatarstan, his deputies were appointed deputy Prime Ministers of the republic: Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko and Roman Shaikhutdinov, who oversees the development of Innopolis. In total, the commission includes 30 people, including the assistant to the head of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, a number of ministers, heads of some universities, heads of enterprises.

Earlier, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov announced that the national project for the development of unmanned aircraft systems should start working from the beginning of 2024. In early August, Tatarstan submitted an application for the creation of a research and production center for drones. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in early September that he was sure that copter parks would appear in Tatarstan.
