OREANDA-NEWS   The Russian air defense system went off on Friday in the city of Armyansk in the north of Crimea, the head of the local administration Vasily Telizhenko said on the Telegram channel. "I ask you to remain calm, the air defense system is working," he wrote.

Telizhenko clarified to TASS that the air defense system worked near the city, earlier only distant sounds of explosions were heard in Armyansk. "I looked at all the services, talked to them, everything is fine, everyone is at work and everyone is working. There are certain people sitting there [in Ukraine] who are undermining this whole situation. Evacuation from Armyansk has not been carried out, is not being carried out and is not planned," Telizhenko said.

At the beginning of the week, information about the alleged evacuation from Armyansk due to shelling from Kiev spread in pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels. Adviser to the head of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov called these publications stuffing, specifying that Ukrainian resources this time create fakes on behalf of Russian soldiers. The head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov also said that the evacuation from Armyansk is not being carried out, the information about it is a fake of the Ukrainian authorities.
