OREANDA-NEWS American journalist Rick Sanchez thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for his attitude towards foreign journalists. He shared his thoughts on his personal page on the social network X.

"I just have to thank President Putin for what he did. This is what I think other Western leaders should do," he wrote.

According to a media employee, the Russian leader always welcomes journalists regardless of their nationality, unlike Westerners.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin said that the West is trying to hang the iron curtain, not Russia. He noted that the example of the USSR's attempt to create this curtain showed that it inevitably ends in failure.

He also spoke philosophically about the actions of the West towards Moscow. "Anyone can make mistakes, but only an idiot can insist on a mistake," he said.
