OREANDA-NEWS  The average amount of car loans issued to Russians decreased by 3.5 percent in November this year, to 1.51 million rubles against October's 1.56 million, according to the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI) based on information received from three thousand creditors of the country.

At the same time, in a number of regions, including Moscow (by 0.9 percent), as well as St. Petersburg (3.7 percent), the average car loan receipt still increased. Moscow also turned out to be the Russian leader in terms of the current size of the indicator with 2.03 million rubles. The top five also included the Moscow Region (1.82 million), St. Petersburg (1.77 million), Krasnodar Territory (1.64 million) and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (1.63 million).

It is noted that in comparison with the data for November 2022 (1.09 million rubles), the average car loan receipt increased in Russia by 37.9 percent.

Earlier, Olga Platonova, head of the lending and insurance departments of the FRESH automotive marketplace, told Lenta.ru", that it is possible to reduce the rate and save on interest when obtaining a car loan in the case of making an initial payment of 10-20 percent of the cost of the car, as well as during restructuring, refinancing and partial early repayment of the loan.
