OREANDA-NEWS  The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Antalya is in contact with Turkish law enforcement agencies in connection with media reports about the murder of two Russians, the statement of the diplomatic mission received by RIA Novosti said.

As Haberturk TV channel previously reported, the bodies of two people of "Russian nationality" were found in the Turkish resort area of Bodrum, they were wrapped in sheets and tied with rope. During the examination by medical teams, it was found that one of the bodies belongs to a woman, and the other to a girl. According to the Ren TV channel, the victims were Irina Dvizova and her daughter, who lived in Bodrum, and the probable suspect is the woman's ex-husband.

"In connection with media reports about the murder of two Russian women in the city of Bodrum, the Consulate General of Russia in Antalya is in contact with local law enforcement agencies in order to verify this information. Upon receipt of the necessary information, the Consulate General will provide an additional comment on this situation," the statement says.
