The FSB opened a criminal case on the organization of the mutiny on June 23. The next day, after negotiations between Yevgeny Prigozhin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the CHEKA troops stopped marching on Moscow, liberated occupied Rostov-on-Don and returned to their field camps.
