OREANDA-NEWS Russian Deputy Defense Minister Viktor Goremykin presented state and departmental awards for courage, bravery and heroism shown during the repulse of attacks by Ukrainian nationalists to the servicemen of the Dnepr group of troops, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.

"The Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, Colonel-General Viktor Goremykin, presented state and departmental awards to the servicemen of the Arctic unit performing combat missions to defend the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson direction of a special military operation," the message says.

It is clarified that Goremykin presented the military with medals "For Bravery", departmental medals "For Military Distinctions" and "For military Valor" of the II degree, and also thanked them for their personal contribution to the common cause, courage, perseverance and high professionalism.

"It's on people like you that Russia is holding on! Courageous actions are being carried out on your part, and we are achieving good and significant victories," the deputy minister added, addressing the servicemen.
