OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Antimonopoly Service has announced that the measure to fix prices for mineral fertilizers on the Russian domestic market will be extended.

Producers of mineral fertilizers have voluntarily set marginal prices in 2021. Since then, these prices have been determined according to the recommendations of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and remain at the level of 2022 until May 31 this year.

"We have decided to extend the measure to keep prices for fertilizers stable. This decision is due to a government decree that establishes quotas for fertilizer exports," the FAS stated.

Currently, no additional price indexing is being applied. Similar measures were implemented in 2023, the FAS explained.
