OREANDA-NEWS  Federation Council member Alexey Pushkov announced the beginning of Russia's active information policy in Africa. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

"Russia is moving to an active information policy in Africa," Pushkov stated.

The Russia—Africa Summit is being held in St. Petersburg from July 27 to 28. It was attended by representatives of almost all African States. It is planned to sign bilateral documents during the summit.

At the reception on the occasion of the summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed a toast to the prosperity of Africa and Russian-African friendship. He noted that Moscow is optimistic about the future of relations with African countries, they are based on strong ties of friendship and mutual assistance.
