OREANDA-NEWS  The FSB told about the recruitment of Russians through advertising. This was reported by TASS with reference to the official representative of the FSB directorate for the Sverdlovsk region, Elena Dokuchaeva.

According to the agency, employees of foreign intelligence services may use targeted advertising when recruiting Russian citizens, which may form views beneficial to intruders. If a person has ever been interested in some radical views, then he may receive relevant information materials to give the impression that he is not alone in his thoughts.

Recruiters can also promise money or success in something. They try to form a model that only by communicating with them will it be possible to "achieve justice." In addition, attackers can use videos, songs, and other options to influence information.

"There are such "seeds" that are planted in our heads so that at a certain moment they germinate, and it feels like we came to this on our own," Dokuchaeva explained.

At the same time, after the initial collection of data about a person and establishing contact with him, the recruiter can conduct regular communication for a long time in order to develop a trusting relationship.

Earlier it was reported that terrorist recruiters have become more active in Ukraine.
