OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian government has established an additional tariff quota for the export of grain crops from Russia in 2026 outside the Eurasian Economic Union, according to a government decree.

According to the document, the additional tariff quota for the export of wheat, meslin, barley and corn will amount to 5 million tons and will be valid until June 30, 2026 inclusive. The Ministry of Agriculture will distribute its volume among the participants of foreign trade activities in a declarative manner.

It is noted that the measure is aimed at supporting agricultural producers who will be able to make additional deliveries of their products abroad. The decision was made taking into account Rosstat's upward adjustment of the volume of gross grain harvest in 2025 (up to 141.2 million tons) and sufficient availability of such products to the domestic market.
