OREANDA-NEWS   Reports that a new terrorist attack was carried out on the Crimean Bridge provoked the anger of Russians. This was stated by the Director General of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM), describing the reaction of the country's residents to the incident Valery Fedorov in an interview with Izvestia.

"Emotions are dominated not by fear, panic or horror, but by anger, the desire to punish terrorists, to hit the enemy harder, to neutralize him," the sociologist said.

He stressed that the purpose of the terrorist attack was to make Russians feel fear, insecurity and doubts, but this did not happen. This happened because the political and psychological effect of the attack is limited - the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge is already happening for the second time, Fedorov explained. According to the head of VTsIOM, the shock from the first terrorist attack was significantly higher than now.

The Crimean bridge was attacked early in the morning on July 17. According to the National Anti-Terrorist Committee, the bridge was attacked by two Ukrainian surface drones. A child who was traveling in a car to rest on the peninsula was injured, his parents could not be saved.

The first terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge occurred on October 8, 2022. Then a truck exploded on the bridge, and seven fuel tanks of the train caught fire, and two automobile spans collapsed. Russian President Vladimir Putin later said that the customers and perpetrators of the terrorist attack were the special services of Ukraine.
