According to RIA Novosti in the presidential administration, the helicopter belongs to the special flight detachment "Russia". He is engaged in the transportation of top officials of the state. The agency's source clarified that there were no passengers on the plane.

"The helicopter was just getting ready to take off, perhaps because of the strong wind it was "spun", which damaged the propeller," the press secretary of the presidential affairs manager Elena Krylova told TASS. According to Mash, the upper screw destroyed the rear one during landing.

Earlier, Interfax reported that the helicopter touched the ground with the blades during landing and was damaged.
