OREANDA-NEWS  The meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the leaders of the new regions of Russia, postponed from Wednesday due to a tight schedule, is planned today, said the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

"Today, by the way, the president plans to have time to hold meetings with four leaders of our new regions - Pushilin, Pasechnik, Balitsky and Saldo," Peskov told reporters.

He clarified that the meetings were supposed to take place on Wednesday, but the schedule of the head of state was "delayed".

On April 5, Putin held a meeting of the Security Council (Security Council), at which issues of ensuring legality, law and order and public security on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions were considered.
