The Kremlin pointed to Washington's ability to influence Kiev

OREANDA-NEWS Washington is able to influence Kiev and make it more compliant, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov pointed out this possibility, his comment is quoted by TASS.
He noted that if desired, the United States can do a lot to resume negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
"This one should be asked from Washington. This cannot be a question for us," Peskov said, answering a question from journalists about the US interest in Russian-Ukrainian negotiations.
The Kremlin representative also drew attention to the fact that Russia's goals in Ukraine can be achieved through a special operation or negotiations.
