OREANDA-NEWS Dmitry Gorbunov, the mayor of Pyt-Yakh, located in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO), received an annual award after working in his position for a month and a half. This is reported by Ura.ru with a link to the information posted on the website of the City Duma.

It is noted that the reward was also awarded to ex-mayor Alexander Morozov, who worked at the post for a little more than 10 months. The issue of awarding mayors was discussed at a meeting of the budget committee, the local Duma said in a statement. "The documentation for the meeting indicates that both mayors are on the list," the website of the city authorities clarifies.

The remuneration of the mayors included a payment in the amount of one salary, as well as qualification payments and northern allowances. According to the source, the average monthly income of the mayor of Pyt-Yakh in 2022 was 400 thousand rubles.

Earlier it was reported that the Irkutsk Regional Court released Vladimir Taskinov, the ex-mayor of Ust-Ilimsk, convicted of bribery, from a high-security colony. In 2017, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison for accepting bribes from entrepreneurs totaling 11 million rubles.
