OREANDA-NEWS  During a massive night attack on June 28-29, air defense systems shot down more than 200 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the regions of Russia The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This statement was made by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the defense ministry, in just one night and morning, the air defense system destroyed 209 UAV units. 12 Russian regions were hit, including the Rostov, Tver, Tula and Kaluga regions, as well as the Moscow Region and Krasnodar Territory. All the destroyed aircraft were of the aircraft type.

The Ministry of Defense did not report any damage on the ground.

Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Crimea. Air defense systems and mobile firing groups were deployed in the region.
