OREANDA-NEWS The Russian military announced that they were conducting a successful offensive in the Kupyansk direction.
"In the Kupyansk direction, units of the "Western" grouping of troops continue successful offensive operations in their area of responsibility. The overall advance was up to two kilometers along the front and up to one and a half kilometers in depth," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing on Tuesday.
According to him, air strikes and artillery fire hit the AFU units in the areas of the settlements of Kalinovo, Berestove, Kislovka, Tabayevka of the Kharkiv region and Novoselovskoye of the Luhansk People's Republic.
"An ammunition depot of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade was destroyed near the settlement of Kotlyarivka, Kharkiv region," he said.
"The enemy's losses amounted to up to 65 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, three cars, as well as a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar," Konashenkov said.
