OREANDA-NEWS  According to preliminary data, at least 10,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers are in the morgues of Rostov, Kursk and Belgorod. Such data is provided by Mash in the Telegram channel.

According to him, the bodies of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are undergoing identification and examination procedures, as well as agreeing on the date and place of exchange. The military reports that the number of people in Ukrainian morgues is more than 10,000.

If the body can be identified immediately, the transfer process takes about six months, said Shamsail Saraliev, a representative of the parliamentary coordination group on civil defense issues. If there are only fragments for identification, then it is delayed for a year.

The number of losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as noted in the message, continues to grow due to the active offensive of Russian troops in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Sumy region. The Ukrainian side does not have time to take the dead from the territory of the fighting.

On June 16, the Russian Ministry of Defense, following the transfer of 6,600 bodies of the Ukrainian military to Kiev, announced that it was also ready to transfer over two thousand more bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers. Russia received 57 bodies in return after handing over six thousand bodies to Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin said.
