The number of transactions in new buildings in Moscow increased by 13% over the year

OREANDA-NEWS The number of transactions in the primary real estate market in Moscow in January 2025 increased by 13.2% compared to the same period in 2024, the Federal Register Office in Moscow said in a statement.
"6,028 DDU were registered in the residential real estate segment, which is 13.2% higher than the result of January 2024 (5,326 DDU), and compared to this month in 2023 (5,777 DDU), the growth was 4.3%," the report says.
In January, the Federal Register Office in Moscow registered 9,253 agreements for participation in shared-equity construction in relation to residential and non-residential real estate, which is 2.5% more than the result of the first month of 2024 (9,024 DDU), and also 13.8% higher than the figure for the same period in 2023 (8,134 DDU).
The number of completed primary transactions in the non-residential real estate market for the month reached 3,225 DDU, which is 12.8% less than the record of January last year (3,698 DDU), the report says. By the same period of 2023 (2,357 DB), there has been a 1.3-fold increase (plus 36.8%).
