OREANDA-NEWS  FSB officers detained in Khakassia a supporter of Ukrainian nationalist structures who promoted the activities of the Ukrainian Azov brigade (a terrorist organization banned in Russia). This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the FSB in the region.

According to the agency, a resident of Abakan, born in 2005, who is a member of the nationalist organization "Ethnic National Association" (headquarters is located in Kiev), from December 2022 to January 2023, distributed propaganda materials in Telegram in order to attract new supporters to the Azov brigade.

A criminal case was opened against the young man under the article on public calls for extremist activity (part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum penalty under it provides for up to seven years in prison or a fine of up to one million rubles. The investigation establishes all the circumstances of the case.

Earlier in Voronezh, the 59-year-old businessman supported the fighters of the Azov brigade on social networks and came under investigation. The entrepreneur posted several posts on his page with words of support for the Azov servicemen. He claimed to be praying for them. The police noticed this and detained the man.
