OREANDA-NEWS  It is planned to complete restoration work on the damaged railway part of the Crimean Bridge in July, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said.

"Currently, structural elements are being assembled and preparations are underway for their installation. The work is carried out around the clock in two shifts, 305 people and 32 pieces of equipment are involved. The entire necessary volume of metal structures – and this is 524 tons – has been delivered, and more than half of the superstructures have already been assembled," Khusnullin's press service quotes him as saying.

According to him, it is planned to complete these works "in July." On the Crimean Bridge, early in the morning of October 8, 2022, a truck was blown up, as a result, seven fuel tanks of a railway train caught fire, two automobile spans of the right side of the bridge partially collapsed. Now it is possible to drive across the bridge by cars, buses, as well as by rail. The movement of any trucks, including low-tonnage ones, through the Kerch Strait is carried out through a ferry crossing.
