The REC supported exports to Vietnam by $133 million

OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Export Center (VEB Group.Russia) provided general support for exports to Vietnam by $ 133 million in 2023, said Ilya Koltygin, head of the REC representative office in Vietnam.
"In 2023, the Russian Export Center provided general support for exports to Vietnam in the amount of $ 133.3 million," Koltygin said.
Vietnam is the best choice for exports outside the CIS due to its large and successfully developing consumer base of 98 million people, a significant part of which are young and active consumers.
"Vietnam's consumer confidence index is high, and its economy should receive a significant boost thanks to membership in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (CEP), a trade bloc that also includes all ten ASEAN countries, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan and South Korea. With a well-thought-out supplier search strategy, Russian enterprises registered in Vietnam can gain access to these markets," Koltygin added.
