OREANDA-NEWS The Armored Repair Plant (BTRZ, part of Rostec's High-Precision Complexes holding) delivered to the troops a batch of overhauled infantry fighting vehicles BMP-2 equipped with fasteners for additional protection.

"560 BTRZ of the High-Precision Complexes holding has sent a new batch of BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles to the customer after major repairs. At the same time, in October, the company located in the Amur region repaired the same amount of equipment as it actually delivered for the whole of last year," the press service of the holding reported.

As noted in the holding, all the main components and assemblies have been repaired or replaced with new ones. In addition, the plant's employees equip the BMP-2 with special fasteners for the rapid installation of additional protection kits.

Acting Executive director of the company Andrey Dornichev said that BTRZ has significantly expanded its staff in recent months due to the increased volume of state defense orders. "Due to the significantly increased parameters of the State Budget and the increased workload, we expanded the staff and increased the wages of workers. About 100 employees have been hired at the company in recent months, and we are ready to employ more than 100 people. Turners, locksmiths, design engineers are required," the press service quoted him as saying.
