According to this indicator, Russia received a score of 94.3 points out of 100. In the categories of "Leader" and "Political influence", the magazine gave a score of 100 points. The second most powerful army in the world according to the compilers of the rating is the United States, the third position is occupied by the Chinese army. The fourth and fifth strongest armies were called the troops of Israel and South Korea, respectively.
The journalists also recognized the strength and influence of the armies of Ukraine, Iran, Great Britain, Germany and Turkey, which were in the top 10. Luxembourg, Singapore, Estonia, the Netherlands and New Zealand were at the bottom of the rating.
The U.S. News & World Report website says that the rating was compiled jointly with specialists from the marketing company WPP and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. When assessing each State, the experts analyzed 73 attributes.
