OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian aviation industry relies only on itself, it is better to do everything by ourselves, Rostec told RIA Novosti against the background of the introduction of new EU sanctions against the Russian aviation industry.

Earlier on Monday, the EU added to the sanctions lists a number of institutions and organizations of the Russian aviation industry, including branches of the United Aircraft Corporation.

"It's better to do everything yourself than to deal with such "partners" who don't keep their word and will leave at the first opportunity. Today, our aviation industry relies solely on itself," the state corporation said in a statement.

European officials prohibit what does not exist: no supplies, no joint projects, nothing else, Rostec added.
