OREANDA-NEWS  Alexey Bobrov and Tatiana Chernykh, former top managers of the CTC Corporation communal holding, were released from jail on a criminal case of fraud. This is reported by TASS.

The defendants in the case have been placed under house arrest.

The billionaire Bobrov, co—owner of CTC Corporation, a monopolist in the field of water supply, energy supply and garbage disposal in the Kurgan, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen regions, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts, was arrested in September 2025 along with Chernykh and the former head of Oblkommunenergo, Anton Bolikov.

Nikolai Smirnov, the former Minister of Energy and Housing of the Sverdlovsk region, testified against them when he was detained while receiving a bribe. The fraud case is related to the embezzlement of budget funds under concession agreements.

In Yekaterinburg, the court nationalized Bobrov and Bikov's property at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia.
