OREANDA-NEWS  The visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Moscow confirmed that New Delhi considers Russia as its strategic partner, no less important than the United States, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko said.

"He once again confirmed that India considers Russia as its strategic partner, the most important partner, no less important than the United States and any other countries... There are good prospects for the development of cooperation in various fields, primarily in the energy sector. As a result of the visit, concrete decisions will be made that will allow us to move forward, including in the economic sphere," he said, speaking during the discussion of the Valdai Club.
