OREANDA-NEWS   Russia will respond very harshly to the possible confiscation of its assets in Europe in favor of Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"We repeat once again: these measures will be very tough," Zakharova said at a briefing on Wednesday.

"According to the European Commission's plan, funds in the amount of 140 billion euros should be allocated to Bankova as an interest-free loan, which he is unlikely - I mean the Kiev regime - to ever repay. Why? Because the main condition for the return is an absolutely unrealistic demand for Russia to pay some reparations to Ukraine," she stressed.
