OREANDA-NEWS The Russian military targeted a convoy with Western military equipment in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

Tactical aviation, missile troops, and artillery were used to attack the convoy near the Udachnoye settlement in the DPR area. The ministry said that the convoy contained Western weapons and other military equipment.

In addition to this, the fighters also targeted the personnel and equipment of the 67th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at a railway loading station near Balakleya in the Kharkiv region. Strikes were also carried out on Ukrainian troops' positions in 112 areas.

Furthermore, units of the Southern Group of Troops destroyed a control point for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the DPR region.In response to attacks on civilian targets by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russian troops have regularly launched targeted strikes against the locations of Ukrainian personnel, equipment, and mercenaries, as well as against infrastructure such as energy, the defense industry, the military administration, and communications in Ukraine.

Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly emphasized that the Russian army does not target residential buildings or social institutions.
