OREANDA-NEWS  Yuri Zaryadnov, a guest soloist at the Mariinsky Theatre, was beaten by his ex-wife's relatives. This is reported by the St. Petersburg TV channel.

Zaryadnov said that he was lured to the apartment to allegedly discuss property issues with a lawyer as part of the divorce process. There, his ex-wife's brother and friend put him in a chair and held him down, threatening to ruin his career and life.

According to the artist, he was beaten in the face so that there would be no traces and forced to write a receipt so that he would transfer it to his property. Persistent calls from the theater scared off the detaining people.

Earlier it was reported that in St. Petersburg, a court sentenced a couple to forced labor for having sex at their mother's grave.
