OREANDA-NEWS  It is impossible to exclude Russia from any negotiation platforms without its consent. Organizations that will remain without the Russian Federation will lose a lot. This was announced on December 7 by Alexey Kanaev, a member of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade.

Thus, he commented on the news that Washington will begin to seek the exclusion of Russia from some international institutions, including the G20. This follows from the draft defense budget of the United States, agreed by the relevant committees of both houses of Congress.

"There is nothing new in the defense budget regarding the direction of the US work on excluding the Russian Federation from various organizations. This is a trend of recent years, and it began even before the start of a special military operation. Another thing is that now these goals are actually legalized by an official document and formulated as the task of the Washington administration," Kanaev notes.

The last G20 summit to date was held on the Indonesian island of Bali on November 15 and 16. The Russian delegation was represented by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
