OREANDA-NEWS The Supreme Court of Russia sided with Russian Victoria Barabanova, who challenged the decision of Vladivostok customs to impose additional 2.8 million rubles in duties for the import of used BMW from South Korea. This was reported by TASS.
According to him, the essence of the dispute was that Barabanova had signed a contract to buy a used car in South Korea, which cost 57.8 thousand dollars. The import duty amounted to 2.6 million rubles. In turn, Vladivostok Customs concluded that the price was undervalued, since the same vehicle was sold at almost three times the price on a foreign auction site.
