OREANDA-NEWS The UK imposed sanctions on 12 major Russian military leaders, three Iranian businessmen and officials, as well as one Iranian company in response to Russian strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure. This is stated in the sanctions list published on Tuesday by the Foreign Ministry of the United Kingdom.

Restrictive measures implying a ban on entry to the UK and freezing of assets in case of their discovery were introduced, in particular, against the commander of the Airborne Forces, Colonel-General Mikhail Teplinsky, Commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Colonel-General Sergei Karakayev, Chief of the Missile Forces and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Mikhail Matveevsky, Head of the Main Rocket and Artillery Department of the Ministry Defense of the Russian Federation Nikolai Parshin, Commander of the 35th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District Alexander Sanchik, as well as Major General Robert Baranov, who, according to the British Foreign Ministry, he heads the main computing center of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Also included in the blacklist were the Chief of staff of the Russian group "West", Lieutenant General Mikhail Zusko, commander of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Division, Major General Alexei Avdeev, Head of the Unmanned Aviation Department of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Major General Alexander Novikov, Commander of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division, Major General Oleg Tsokov, Chief of Missile Troops and Artillery of the 1st Tank Army Colonel Georgy Shuvaev and commander of the 4th Tank Division Colonel Yevgeny Zhuravlev.

The Iranian company Oje Parvaz Mado Nafar Company, its head Yousef Abutalebi, the head of the Iranian Aviation Industry Organization Afshin Hajeh Fard and Brigadier General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Abdollah Mehrabi also fell under the restrictions of London.
