OREANDA-NEWS The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Thursday, August 28, attacked five municipalities of the Belgorod region. This was announced by the head of the Russian region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

The governor of the Belgorod region stressed that a man was injured in the city of Shebekino. The victim was hospitalized, he is receiving the necessary assistance.

"In the Valuysky district in the village of Sobolevka, a drone struck a private house — windows were blown out and the facade was damaged. Two cars were also hit by shrapnel," Gladkov wrote.

During the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a number of settlements in the region: Shebekino, Novaya Tavolzhanka, Murom, Nikolskoye, Yasnye Zori, Tavrovo, Krasny Oktyabr, Novy Oskol, Sobolevka, Kazinka, Berezovka, Gruzskoye, Belenke.

Earlier it was reported that Mikhail Terekhov, a self-defense fighter and commander of the Streletsky-2 battalion, came under artillery fire in the Belgorod region.
