OREANDA-NEWS Expert Kornev said that there are no analogues of Russian ICBMs "Sarmat" in the world.

No one in the world has analogues of Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) "Sarmat". Dmitry Kornev, editor of the Militaryrussia portal, explained the uniqueness of Russian weapons in an interview with Izvestia.

According to him, the Russian ICBM is capable of "throwing" about ten tons. "Such energy capabilities make it possible to strike with a large number of conventional ballistic combat units, both along straight trajectories and in circumnavigation of the globe," the expert said.

According to the expert, this ICBM can become a carrier of hypersonic planning units of type 4202, currently used as part of the Avangard missile system. According to him, one "Sarmat" will be able to carry up to ten such blocks.
