OREANDA-NEWS. Unknown persons have hacked the website of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. This was reported by journalists with reference to the Court’s press secretary Maryana Gayovskaya. She added that specialists are busy with the resumption of the site’s work.

Earlier, the Constitutional Court declared unconstitutional the article of the Criminal Code, which provided for punishment for inaccurate tax declaration. The Court also revoked the right of the National Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office to check electronic declarations and identify conflicts of interest. In connection with this decision, access to the Unified Register of Electronic Declarations was closed, which violates the entire system of anti-corruption reform, the adoption of which was one of the requirements for granting Ukraine a visa-free regime with the European Union, as well as providing financial assistance from international creditors. In the Office of the President of Ukraine, the decision was called unlawful and contradicting the interests of the country. The government ordered to resume access to the register bypassing the ruling of the Constitutional Court.
